Last Sunday, my wife, my two sons, and I decided to spend our weekend holiday by taking a trip out of town. We chose Karang Jahe Beach, located in Rembang Regency, Central Java. We left early in the morning by private car so that the children would not get too tired and we could enjoy the beach atmosphere before the sun became too hot. We had been looking forward to this trip because we wanted to give our boys an exciting and unforgettable beach experience.
After a pleasant journey, we finally arrived at Karang Jahe Beach. As soon as we entered the beach area, my two sons cheered with joy at the sight of thousands of shady coastal pine trees lined up neatly along the shore. The atmosphere felt very cool as the fresh sea breeze blended with the shade of the trees. My wife and I immediately looked for a comfortable spot under the pine trees to spread out our mat, rest, and put our belongings.
Without wasting any time, our exciting activities began. My wife and I took our two sons to play in the sea water along the sloping shoreline where the waves were quite friendly. After we were satisfied playing and getting soaked in the water, we continued our land adventure by renting the vehicles available there. I accompanied the kids as we rented and rode ATVs along the vast shoreline, while my wife happily captured the moments when we also tried renting mini dirt bikes, which really pumped up the kids' adrenaline on the white sand.
The excitement of the day was not over yet, as we then decided to try an adventure out on the open sea. Our family rented a traditional tourist boat to cross over to Coral Island (Pulau Karang), located not too far from the shoreline. During the boat ride, our two sons looked very enthusiastic watching the vast blue sea stretch out before them. Upon arriving at Coral Island, we were treated to a view of unique and exotic coral rock formations, making it the perfect final adventure before we headed back to the mainland to get ready to go home.
For my family and me, this holiday to Karang Jahe Beach was a deeply memorable and satisfying moment of togetherness. This destination proved to be very kid-friendly because it provides a wide variety of rental rides—such as ATVs, dirt bikes, and tour boats—that kept the children from getting bored. I highly recommend this beach to any family looking to spend quality time filled with safe, exciting, and budget-friendly adventures.
